Paris Jan 22 - 27, 2012 Dear Dr Severny and Dr Koren,
At the 17th IACAPAP Congress in Melbourne 2006, IACAPAP (the International Organization for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and
Allied Professions) decided upon arranging Helmut Remschmidt Research Seminars in the geographical areas where the next IACAPAP Congress will take place.
As we are having the next congress in Paris in 2012, the 3rd research seminar of this kind is now planned and is organized jointly by IACAPAP and the SFPEADA, the French CAP Society. We want to invite you to decide on one #8211; two young colleagues, interested in research, to participate in the IACAPAP Helmut Remschmidt Research Seminar.
The purpose of the seminar is to inspire young colleagues from our discipline to engage in research. The topic this time is : #8221;How to evaluate effects of treatment strategies used in child and adolescent psychiatry. The seminar will take place in Paris in a convenient setting. The participants will have detailed information on this.
The lecturers are all distinguished researchers from our discipline including Professor Helmut Remschmidt himself. Their excellent lectures and guidance to the participants will ensure the seminar to fulfill its objective.
As has been the tradition from the IACAPAP Regional Seminars over the past years, the participant's accommodation and treat during the Seminar will be sponsored,while their travel expenses are covered by their national organization or their home department.
We do hope you and your organization will accept the invitation and send us information on the participant from your country. We would like to have their e-mail-addresses in order to contact them in person in a convenient way.
